Warranty Policy
No Limit Gutters | nolimitgutters.ca
Effective Date: May 27, 2026 | Last Updated: May 25, 2026
At No Limit Gutters, we back every installation with industry-leading protection. Our warranty coverage is tiered — your workmanship warranty period depends on the service package you select at the time of your quote, while all installations carry the same premium Kaycan manufacturer material warranty.
1. Workmanship Warranty — Coverage by Package
The length of your labour warranty is tied directly to the service package you choose:
| Service Package | Workmanship Coverage | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essentials Package | Full workmanship warranty | 1 Year from installation date |
| Premium Components Package | Full workmanship warranty | 4 Years from installation date |
| Gutter Guardian Package | Full workmanship warranty | 7 Years from installation date |
2. What the Workmanship Warranty Covers
Under normal operating conditions, we guarantee:
- Watertight Integrity: No leaks or seam separation at miters, end caps, or custom drop outlets
- Proper Drainage: Correct slope and water pitch directing flow toward downspouts — provided the system is kept clear of debris
- Structural Security: Gutter systems will remain firmly anchored to the fascia boards under normal load and weather conditions
3. 25-Year Manufacturer Material Warranty — Kaycan Aluminum Rainware
Every No Limit Gutters installation uses premium Kaycan aluminum rainware, backed by Kaycan’s 25-Year Limited Manufacturer Warranty from the date of installation.
Who is covered: The Kaycan manufacturer warranty is available to the Original Homeowner only and is non-transferable upon sale or transfer of the property.
Years 1 to 10 — Full Non-Prorated Coverage:
If manufacturing defects cause the aluminum to rust through, crack from cold, peel, blister, or delaminate within the first 10 years, Kaycan will cover 100% of material costs to repair, refinish, or replace the affected product at their discretion.
Years 11 to 25 — Prorated Coverage:
After the initial 10 years, Kaycan’s share of material costs decreases on the following schedule:
| Policy Year | Manufacturer’s Share of Material Cost |
|---|---|
| Year 11 | 90% |
| Year 12 | 80% |
| Year 13 | 70% |
| Year 14 | 60% |
| Year 15 | 50% |
| Years 16 – 25 | 10% (fixed floor for the remainder of the warranty period) |
Discontinued products: If a specific Kaycan color, profile, or gauge is discontinued, materials will be replaced with the closest available comparable product at Kaycan’s discretion.
4. Warranty Exclusions — What Is Not Covered
All warranty coverage — workmanship and manufacturer — is void under the following conditions:
- Acts of God & Extreme Weather: Windstorms, hailstorms, lightning, fire, falling trees or branches, heavy snow loads, ice dam formation, or physical damage caused by ice dam removal
- Wildlife & Animal Activity: Damage caused by birds, squirrels, rodents, or other animals — including nesting in or on the gutter system, physical damage to gutters, hangers, end caps, or downspouts caused by animal entry or habitation, and debris accumulation resulting from animal activity
- Unauthorized Modifications: Any modification, repair, or alteration made by anyone other than No Limit Gutters without our prior written consent — this immediately and irrevocably voids all workmanship warranty coverage
- Chemical or Pressure Damage: Damage from chemical cleaning agents, acidic compounds, or pressure washers directed at the gutter system
- Non-Payment: All warranty coverage is null and void if the installation invoice has not been paid in full
- Failure to Maintain: The system must be kept clear of debris. We recommend a professional cleaning at least once per year. Blockage-related overflow or damage due to lack of maintenance is not covered
- Pre-Existing Structural Issues: Deficiencies in the underlying fascia, soffit, roof decking, or building structure that were not disclosed or discoverable at the time of installation
- Third-Party Damage: Damage caused by other contractors or trades working on or adjacent to the property after our installation
5. How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your installation has a defect covered under your workmanship warranty, please notify us in writing within 30 days of first discovering the issue:
- Email: warranty@nolimitgutters.ca
- Subject line: Warranty Claim — [Your Property Address]
- Include: Your full name, service address, installation date (if known), and a description of the issue
We will acknowledge your claim within 5 business days and schedule a no-charge inspection within 10 business days where the claim falls within your warranty period and coverage scope.
Inspection Scope & Service Call Fee: Our warranty inspection is complimentary where the reported issue falls within your warranty period and coverage scope as defined in this policy. If the inspection determines that the reported issue is caused by a maintenance deficiency — such as debris accumulation, lack of cleaning, animal activity, or normal seasonal wear — rather than a covered workmanship defect, no warranty repair will be performed. In such cases, No Limit Gutters reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to apply a standard service call fee for the visit. Any corrective or remedial work identified during the inspection that falls outside warranty scope will be quoted and invoiced separately at our standard service rates. This warranty inspection is distinct from our complimentary pre-job quoting assessments.
For Kaycan manufacturer material warranty claims, we will assist you in initiating the process directly with Kaycan.
